This year we have a pretty large gap, as a team we have covered over 3k, the trip costs just over 5k and this is not an amount I can cover by myself. It pains me to think this will be the first summer I may have to cancel this trip and end the summer.

We reported this to the Amtrak crew and they did not care and were not accommodating.  As we appreciated the opportunity to be together and enjoy extra time together, I am very upset and wish we never rode Amtrak on this part of our trip.

What’s crazy is watching the Olympics this year is different, growing up it’s about seeing those you idle.

Now it’s no different except I actually know some of the athlete who are competing and some coached as part of their path to their Olympic reality today.
