Kwibuka32: today we remember the unspeakable horrors that befell us: the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. I salute the courage of the survivors who, despite overwhelming loss in every aspect of life, chose to live again and, beyond that, chose to preemptively embrace forgiveness and instead opened a window to unity and transformational reconciliation . I thank God for empowering the Inkotanyi with courage, strength, and spirited hearts to fight evil with every fiber of their being and to stop the genocide. Above all, I salute the enduring Rwandan spirit of resilience that shaped Rwanda in the aftermath of the genocide and declared: Never Again. Today, the struggle continues against genocide denial and the distortion of truth—efforts meant to disrespect and dishonor the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi.#Kwibuka32

#WorldCupFinals our differences brings colorfulness like the kicking the ball and jumping into jubilation without undermining fierce competition- without that life would be boring! @FIFAPresident
@JewswithRwanda@mkainerugaba@PatriotNkotanyi I tried reaching out, but I don’t think your inbox is receiving messages. In any case, I would like to order one. Do you have it available in Rwanda? And how can someone get it in the USA?

In 1994, over one million children, women and men were killed in the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Today, Sweden 🇸🇪 joined @RwandaUN, @PGA, @UN and Member States in the General Assembly to honor their memory and to stand against hatred, division and violence.

Today, we mourn the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda – over 1M lives lost in 100 days. Genocide has warning signs: deep discrimination, dehumanisation, incitement to hatred. States must prevent & punish this horrific atrocity crime.

You may want to check out the memoir Prince: Beauty for Ashes — a deeply personal account that paints a vivid, lived portrait of Rwanda’s history through the eyes of one life.
It offers not just events and dates, but the heartbeat of a nation remembered, endured, and ultimately rising through hope and resilience.
More than 30 years later, the pain is still raw—yet the love she had for her children taken during the genocide lives on. She chose to extend that love to all of Rwanda’s children. What a heart. What a life.

Flexibility is what allows you to accept what reality (or knowledgeable people) teaches you; self-accountability is essential because if you really believe that failing to achieve a goal is your personal failure, you will see your failing to achieve it as indicative that you haven't been creative or flexible or determined enough to do what it takes. And you will be that much more motivated to find the way. #principleoftheday
