Real investment. Real opportunity.
From one of the world's largest insurance companies in @ChubbNA, to global food brand @bonduellefoods, and nuclear science company, @TerraPower Isotopes, businesses are choosing Philadelphia.
Companies like these show how the city is competing globally for growing businesses and new jobs that will open the door to greater economic opportunity.
This is why we are investing in workforce development and making sure Philadelphians – ESPECIALLY those who have been left out of opportunity for too long – are first in line to benefit from this growth.
That is how we build economic growth, prosperity, and security in Philadelphia — our economic GPS. We are open for business!

You gotta be kitten me right meow. City Hall has cats?! 😸

Market East matters to Philadelphia.
When I look around and see the streetscape improvements, the 42 new trees planted, more than 8,800 feet of formerly vacant storefronts now activated from Meantime PHL with the creativity of local entrepreneurs, and nine new murals designed by local artists — this is what revival looks like.
Thank you to every partner standing with us today for believing in this work and helping us bring visible progress to Market East!
Exciting things are happening on Market East!
Yesterday, we cut the ribbon on the Meantime on Market initiative, which is now open for business!
Local pop-up stores are ready for customers along the Market East corridor with something for everyone.
Folks all over Philly have important connections to Market East. If you have an idea to support its future, let us hear it!
