Hull severly injured Hayes when he checked him into the boards in which Hayes twisted his leg and landed on it. Hull also check in the direction of the boards in which Hayes' head went head-first into the boards. @thephlleague #DOPS @PHLRoyals @KrakenPHL

The Department of Player Safety, along with Commissioner @Idntgivetkachuk have determined that @PHLRoyals Blake Hull will be suspended 10 games. Hull will also be fined $5,000, the maximum allowed under the CBA, for an illegal check on @KrakenPHL Jimmy Hayes. @thephlleague #DOPS
