Piedmont vs. Cleveland highlights 📽️
The Bulldogs won 51-19, rushing for 403 yards and forcing 4 INTs. Michael Stitts ran for 137 yards and a TD, while Justin Amberson added a 45-yard pick-six.

James Pendergrass’ Anniston Star article looked at Piedmont under Coach Mike Hayes as the Bulldogs sat 3–2, prepared for Randolph County, and continued gaining confidence in the 1998 season.

Nick Birdsong’s Anniston Star feature spotlighted Piedmont legend Mickey Jackson before the 3A state title game. “Big Mick” entered with 84 tackles and 11 sacks, anchoring the Bulldog defense.
