Students are back in our library and are LOVING it! They visit the library once a week where they browse our wide selection of books and they can even check out their favorites if they want! Students look forward to library time every week 😄📚

Firefighters from the Lomita Fire Station #6 visited Peninsula Heritage School to collect toys for the Spark of Love Toy Drive! Students brought in toys all week and were so excited to meet the firefighters and to give back this holiday season. 😄❤️

In multi-age groups led by our 8th graders, students made a craft turkey while reflecting on what they are grateful for. They also enjoyed a @ChickfilA feast together! It was a special day where students made new friendships with fellow PHS students from different grades! 😀🦃

It was such a pleasure to have author Lester Laminack visit our campus where he gave engaging and thoughtful lessons to our students. In his lessons, students discovered how to become better writers, readers, and listeners!

Happy Veterans Day!
Today, students in each grade did activities to celebrate, learn about, and honor Veterans. Elementary students wrote letters while middle school students made paracord lanyards which will be sent to our Military via Operation Gratitude. Thank you, Veterans!

Halloween at PHS started with our Assembly, followed by our Costume Parade, then class parties!! 🎃 👻

Our Kindergarten & 1st Grade classes went on a field trip to Tanaka Farms and for many, it was their first field trip and ride on a school bus! Students went on a wagon ride, picked vegetables and pumpkins, saw farm animals at the petting zoo, and made fun memories with friends.

Harvest Fair 2022! 🎃🥳

The PHS community had an amazing day full of memories that will last a lifetime. Families enjoyed a variety of activities, food from the Dad's BBQ Pit, yummy homemade desserts, Teacher Adventure raffles, a pumpkin patch, face painting, and so much more!

Did you know that PHS teachers send weekly updates to parents with highlights about what their class has been learning at school? Mrs. Lynn, our 5th-grade teacher, started her newest update with a math joke: Why is the math book so unhappy? Because it's full of problems!

We loved celebrating the city of Rolling Hills Estates' 65th birthday at the RHE City Celebration this past weekend! Community members visited our booth to make necklaces, grab bubbles or a frisbee, and learn about our school. 😃 @CityofRHE
