🏆🪗 DOUBLE STATE CHAMPIONS! 🪗🏆

La Joya ISD proudly celebrates Palmview High School students Valentina Alaniz, a 9th grader and State Champion in the 15 & Under Division, and Christian Zapata, an 11th grader and State Champion in the 16 & Over Division, for their outstanding victories at the Texas Folklife “Texas Big Squeeze” Young Accordion State Championship in Houston! 🎉

Through their incredible talent, dedication, and unforgettable performances, both students captured state titles in their respective divisions, bringing home not one, but two State Championships for Palmview High School and La Joya ISD! 👏🏆

As part of their accomplishment, both students received brand-new Hohner accordions and will have the honor of opening the prestigious Kings & Queens Concert in Houston next month. 🎶✨

Congratulations, Valentina and Christian! Your hard work and passion continue to make the entire La Joya ISD family proud. ❤️🖤
