@jumexcuh The hate on Mark is weird. People forget we had to live with Plum, Eubanks, Metu, Azubuike, and the ghost of Nurk.
People talking about "lets develop our young guys". Meanwhile Mark is less than 6 months older than Oso lol.
@FrenchValleyFR I was just going with Gambo's report. Looks like theres mutual interest in him resigning here.
I cant imagine them trading 2 first round picks and trying to keep him as healthy as possible just to let him walk tbh
I do believe retaining Mark Williams is something the Suns would like to do so not having him in my top two priorities is NOT me saying he won't be back since so many of you are commenting on this. I do think he will be back. Just believe Collin and Jordan are the 2 most important.
@FlawlessViktory@True_Rys Yeah having an effective middy would be huge. It took Mikal until his 4th or 5th year to develop the mid range jumper. Again, having him follow that trajectory would be huge for us and I think its very realistic.
Derozan would be crazy but idk if he'll ever be that good lmao
@FlawlessViktory@True_Rys Yeah when he attacks with force his athleticism really shows. He improved his 3pt% from 30% to 33% this season. If he can get that to like 36-37% and then work on his handles, I can't see why he cant be a very good contributor next season. But half the fan base wants him gone lol
@FlawlessViktory@True_Rys He still has potential and I think he'll develop into a solid rotation player. He won't be our star or anything, but as the 28th pick I never expected him to be. The hope was that he could be a Mikal Bridges (as a Sun) type player and thats still very much possible
@FlawlessViktory@True_Rys He absolutely didn't play well dont get me wrong lol. I wanted him to take the leap, but a guy who averaged 8ppg in college and shot 20% from 3 his last season there clearly was going to be a project. Just 1 season under his belt was never going to be enough
@JGSupremacy4 I know your whole thing is being a Jalen fan, but stop with the divide talk. You been on this whole "this is Jalens team now" stuff all season but trying to act like youre non-biased. Ive loved Jalen and want him to stay, but he gets moved first 10/10 times if its Book vs Jalen
@J_Kartch Something tells me they'll be hesitant to make big moves. My gut tells me either Royce or Grayson will be moved to free up cap. Use that to sign Goody, Collin and Mark. And maybe make some minor changes.
Not saying thats the ideal offseason, but just what I feel may happen
@BiasedHouston And everyone saying "Detroit can give a lot of picks" who cares? Detroits core is so young AND we give them Book? They'll run the east for years. We giving away Book for a bunch of number 25-30 picks? We can get those kind of picks without trading the face of a franchise.
@BiasedHouston Book was top 10 in scoring and top 20 in assists this season. You're right in saying he's not the same player he was 3 years ago, but his role was forcibly changed into a playmaker instead of purely a bucket. Moving on from him would be stupid, stop this narrative.
@lil_trevino24 Don't do that, don't put "best player" and take a shot at Book after he was top 10 in scoring and top 20 in assists this season. You can defend Jalen without attacking our guy. Non delusional Suns fans are excited to build around both.
