@ArnstAg@yachtclubmatty I agree with all of this. We really like ours. Would not be scared to get another one. Have no experience with other makes of U trough augers though.
We hope to be harvesting #flax this year. We’d like to use a stripper header on the combine, then direct seed into it the following spring using Bourgault 3320 hoe style drill with MRB. Will this work? Where to find header to rent/demo in south central MB?
@Jason_hildo @bigbushelsag I think it’s pretty common. Dummy stack on the left. I think it’s kind of a joke, but to each their own I guess. Probably makes more sense then having 2 working stacks instead of one? #Unpopularopinion 🤷♂️
@patkunz 🙄 I meant if you would look down from top of bin. The drag would be going counter clockwise around the bin? I just never seen one like that before. 🤷♂️ or, it’s some mirror thing going on and my brain is broken?
@kowalchukfarms1 Cool to see how the yards recently started from scratch differ from the ones that have been modified for 100 years. Here’s our work-in-progress. @jen_parsonage
@steeves11 @CANTERRAcolette Oh my… I don’t think so, as the whole field was sprayed pre seed, and the non cover area was sprayed last fall as well, so if it was that, yield should be the other way around
Seeded canola into rye cover crop trial this spring after it had been sprayed with glyphosate. Canola yielded 5 bu/ac less here. Why? What did I do wrong?
@DaleSteele11 I think it is moisture related, but I thought after the 3” rain it got early in the growing season would have been better saved by the thick residue layer of the dead rye plants? When we went in to drought conditions after that I thought it would recover
