I am very excited to share a project that first came to me 3 years ago.
Inspired by the ITV programme 'Britain's Favourite Walks: Top 100, I began to study the top 10 walks.
The collection will be shown in an exhibition at the Northern Lights Gallery, Keswick from May 28, 2021
Night time photos of our window display inspired by the works of Patricia Haskey. Her collection captures the beauty of Lancaster under lamp light.
Also featured are ceramics by Rae Tribbick, accessories by Janie Knitted Textiles + printed homewares + scarves by Ruth Holly

Sharing a project from facebook - to post 1 piece of my work for 10 days. Here 'Sandylands - The Tartan Blanket' a tiny gouache painting from the early 80's, just before absolutely everyone abandoned Morecambe for Lloret-de-Mar.
Throwback Thursday. Love painting tiny farmhouses & cottages set against the expansive backdrop of mountains. Here - a detail from 'Late Summer - Blencathra'
Looking forward 2 seeing these places again ๐
Patricia Haskey is 1 of our permanent exhibitors + her interpretations of local landmarks + landscapes are proudly presented in our gallery

Really enjoying experimenting with chinese brushes & pens - this amazing oriental-looking tree is actually on the east side of Derwentwater looking over to Causey Pike.
