MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO BANK ROBBERY— Quincy Lavell Martin pleaded guilty to Robbery in the Second Degree and received a sentence of 20 years in prison.
Martin’s robbery charges stemmed from the robbery of the West Alabama Bank in Ethelsville in July of 2015. @wvua23

NEW TUSCALOOSA POLICE CHIEF: Monday morning Mayor Walt Maddox announced that Brent Blankley is now the new Tuscaloosa Police Chief. Blankley has been with Tuscaloosa police for 13 years, and most recently was a lieutenant. He will be sworn into office March 3rd.
BREAKING: A Tuscaloosa Co jury has found Sheridan Temms not guilty of criminally negligent homicide in the 2016 death of tow truck driver John Hubbard. Prosecutors said Temms was driving 90 mph when she collided with a parked car that struck and killed Hubbard on I- 20/59.
GUILTY— a Tuscaloosa County Jury just found Colby Lewis guilty of rape, sodomy and burglary-all in the first degree. Lewis broke into a University of Alabama student’s home, where he raped, sodomized and burglarized her. The crimes happened after the 2016 Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa.

STRUCTURE COLLAPSE-5 construction workers in Tuscaloosa were treated at the hospital after falling 20-25 feet. It happened at a construction site at 811 12th Street. The floor section collapsed. None of the workers were trapped, crews rescued the workers.

TUSCALOOSA MAN SENTENCED TO JAIL TIME: Kevin Henderson was sentenced to serve 5 years in Jail and 10 years probation. He was convicted for the murder of 17 year old chase price. Hendersons car crashed head-on into Price in 2016. Troopers believe Henderson was going 101 mph
