PIADO has completed the distribution of emergency in-kind food assistance across five IDP sites in Wachile District of East Borena Zone. Each household received 25 kg of rice, 3 liters of vegetable oil, beans, and salt. PIADO also commenced the distribution in Dhas today.

We conducted community mobilization & orientation for Emergency Food Assistance (In-Kind) at 6 IDP sites in Dhas & Wachile, East Borena, Oromia.

Total of 6 Beneficiary Selection & Appeal Committees formed with 7 members each with gender balance & inclusion.The committees Members were from IDPs, local gov’t, women & youth groups, host communities,and PWDs.Transparent & fair selection ensured.

To ensure lifesaving access to safe water, PIADO, with support from @save_children,delivered water trucking services to displaced families in Wachile & Dhas districts, East Borena Zone. 💧
This response reaches 36,000 people, reducing waterborne diseases & improving hygiene.
