🌾 फल एवं सब्जियों के वैज्ञानिक प्रसंस्करण से महिलाओं को मिला उद्यमिता का नया अवसर!
केवीके फाजिल्का (ICAR–CIPHET, क्षेत्रीय केन्द्��, अबोहर) द्वारा 21–23 जुलाई 2026 तक ATMA, फाजिल्का के सहयोग से 3-दिवसीय व्यावसायिक प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इसमें 8 गांवों के 30 प्रतिभागियों (29 महिलाएं एवं 1 पुरुष) ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।
डॉ. अरविंद कुमार अहलावत, अध्यक्ष, केवीके फाजिल्का के मार्गदर्शन एवं डॉ. रुपेंदर कौर, वैज्ञानिक (गृह विज्ञान) के नेतृत्व में प्रतिभागियों को अचार, चटनी, स्क्वैश, वैज्ञानिक ड्राइंग, ड्राई चटनी मिक्स, हरी मिर्च पाउडर निर्माण, पैकेजिंग, लेबलिंग, लागत एवं मूल्य निर्धारण तथा FSSAI लाइसेंस संबंधी व्यावहार���क प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। डॉ. अमित नाथ ने महिला उद्यमिता एवं स्वरोजगार, डॉ. किशन कुमार पटेल ने डिजिटल मार्केटिंग, की जानकारी साझा की।
यह प्रशिक्षण ग्रामीण महिलाओं को मूल्य संवर्धन, खाद्य प्रसंस्करण, स्वरोजगार एवं आत्मनिर्भर भारत की दिशा में सशक्त बनाने की एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल है।
🌾 Empowering Rural Women through Scientific Food Processing & Value Addition!
KVK Fazilka (ICAR–CIPHET, Regional Station, Abohar) successfully organized a 3-day Vocational Training Programme (21–23 July 2026) on "Value Addition and Processing of Fruits & Vegetables: A Strategy to Reduce Post-Harvest Losses and Enhance Farmers' Income" with the support of ATMA, Fazilka. The programme was attended by 30 participants (29 women and 1 man) from 8 Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across the district.
Under the guidance of Dr. Arvind Kumar Ahlawat, Head, KVK Fazilka, and coordinated by Dr. Rupinder Kaur, Scientist (Home Science), participants received hands-on training on the preparation of pickles, chutneys, squash, scientific drying of vegetables, dry chutney mix, green chilli powder, along with packaging, labelling, cost & pricing, and FSSAI licensing.
Dr. Arvind Kumar Ahlawat highlighted the importance of branding, value addition, and market linkages for successful rural enterprises. Dr. Amit Nathmotivated participants towards women-led entrepreneurship, Dr. Kishan Kumar Patel demonstrated the role of digital marketing and social media in expanding market reach for food processing enterprises.
The programme aimed to empower SHG women with entrepreneurial skills, promote value addition, reduce post-harvest losses, and create sustainable livelihood opportunities through food processing.
