Rhea falls 4-3 to McMinn as the Cherokees scored 3 runs in the 7th on only one hit. One run scored when a Cherokee was caught in a rundown & a player on 3rd beat the tag at home. Another run came on a wild pitch/passed ball.
Tough way to lose a game.
Congratulations to former Lady Raider Basketball Coach Rachel Powell Moore! She was inducted into the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame last night. Rachel was the CHS Coach from 1999-2011.

Rhea County’s appeal for its placement in a new district for basketball, baseball, softball & bowling has been denied. From 2025-2027 Rhea’s district in baseball, softball & basketball will include McMinn, Farragut, Bearden, Hardin Valley Lenoir City & Oak Ridge.
Had no idea when we made the phone call it would turn into one of the greatest experiences of not only my life but many former players lives. To many great memories to count just thankful to have been a part of them!
