Despite widespread efforts online, no one has been able to identify what these are. I’m completely stumped — and it seems like most others are too.
Does anyone else remember these from childhood?
@Joshua_LV0 Joshua thank you! You’ve given Cyclone Nation some of the greatest memories. I hope we’ve returned the favor. Thank your parents for sharing you with us. They are great people. Only the best in the tourneys and life. Go Cyclones!
@mrj0711 Looking forward to seeing you in Hilton one more time. Thank you for sharing your great son with Cyclone Nation. He will be missed but not forgotten. Cyclone forever!
Last night, I went to my first Kansas basketball game as a spectator. It was surreal because the last time I was inside Allen Fieldhouse, I was playing for Iowa State (and beating Kansas).
I grew up a die-hard Jayhawks fan. Both my parents went to KU and I watched every game as a kid. I've spoken (and written) a bunch about how Roy Williams told me I'd never play in the Big XII, about how I went to Iowa State, and about how we beat Kansas the last four times I ever played them (and how good that felt).
I'll probably never completely lose that chip on my shoulder, but I spent a lot of last night's game thinking about how grateful I am that things did NOT go the way I wanted when I was 18 years old. I like my story: Iowa State on an academic scholarship thanks to Tim Floyd (and my mom's research), the early struggles, the late triumphs, the heartbreak to end it all.
It's so, so hard to remember this, but it's often true that we'll never find what's right until someone tells us we're wrong.
@NoLimitDO Thank you so much for all you have given for Iowa State. Sorry we have some (I will not give them the honor of calling them fans if they’re hating on you) that have soured your picture of ISU. Hate to see you go but wish you well wherever you land.
This is why Iowa State football is a success. These guys pour into each other. They INVEST in each other. Coach to player, player to coach, player to player. In an era of “what’s in it for me?” Matt Campbell’s program is the polar opposite.

Anyone who tells you the proposed changes to the governor’s AEA bill is responding to Iowans concerns is FULL OF IT.
The original bill had 99 instances of local decision-making taken away and moved to the Governor’s Dept of education. The new has 133.
