@SallyAnn1066 A South East Coast Ambulance Service was called for my Aunt suffering a stroke in Hastings at 2pm on 17th May 2022. An ambulance, sent from Ashford, arrived around 11pm - a 9 hour wait. National Insurance is used to pay for, amongst other things, the NHS.
