@REVIEWDICKERS @NictauGirl@clareblackwood What belonging to two Canadas did he unite, given that you wrote the possessive form?
Was this unity gained through his policy of deliberate starvation of indigenous peoples?
@ibrenlaw@clareblackwood Straight jackets? You have something against curved jackets?
If you had made it to grade 7 you might have learned it is spelled straitjacket.
@crflames@clareblackwood We need properly funded public education so people learn how to write the plural form of words correctly. I’m tired of reading poorly right wing complaints.
@YARDMAN4EVA@ToulasTake In the criminal case for 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to conceal payments Trump was found guilty of all charges by a jury of 12 citizens.
His sentencing is scheduled on 19 November, but I suspect things will change.

@YARDMAN4EVA@ToulasTake In the civil case:
"In May 2023, a jury concluded that Trump had sexually assaulted and defamed Carroll, and awarded her $5 million. A second defamation case produced an $83.3 million judgment in January 2024."

@YARDMAN4EVA@ToulasTake They aren’t accusations. He’s already gone through trials and was found guilty by juries. He had the full due process of the law, and ordinary citizens weighed the evidence and returned their verdicts.
@Ozgrl6@PatSton58668260@jdice03 Well, as a Canadian I can only say I am sorry America is hellbent on self-destruction. It will be sad to watch you murder each other in the streets.
@Ozgrl6@PatSton58668260@jdice03 I have followed Trump's career since the 80s. He has always been a malignant narcissist, spoiled rich kid. Have you met shitty rich people in your life who treated regular people as if they were beneath them? That's him. He's a conman who admires dictators.
@Ozgrl6@PatSton58668260@jdice03 When she was an expert witness in court, an investigation into Tara Reade determined that she had made false statements under oath.
Reade's 2020 allegations did not match the complaint she made in 1993, and then she defected to Russia. She doesn't seem reliable.
@Ozgrl6@PatSton58668260@jdice03 All people have a past. I've made mistakes. I have not committed crimes. I have not sexually assaulted anyone. I have not run a fake university that resulted in $25 million settlement or stolen from my own charity. The question is what bad actions are enough to lose a vote?
@Ozgrl6@PatSton58668260@jdice03 I’m very clear. I am able to reference and provide documentation of specific things that should disqualify anyone from being elected to high office.
