@itsLebzin @orlandopirates @_Marumogallants We've seen enough, we can't move from competing on all fronts to back to back loses🙅🏾‍♂️Solid foundation was built with youngsters even, all he had to do was supplement it with new signings, no, he decided to demolish the entire thing and start his own, we have no time for that.

[Nelson Mandela Foundation @NelsonMandela]

Dr Naledi Pandor has been appointed as the new Board Chair for the #NelsonMandelaFoundation. She takes up her position on 1 October.

She worked closely with Madiba during South Africa’s first democratic administration in the 1990s and is one of South Africa’s longest-serving members of Parliament.

“In a world facing so many complex challenges, mobilising Madiba’s legacy becomes more important than ever. I believe that the Nelson Mandela Foundation is doing critically important work in the social justice space, and I am looking forward to making a meaningful contribution,” she says.

She will be attending the 22nd Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture on 28 September 2024.

We’re not surprised that Kathorus Shop Owners Association tried to disrupt our media briefing.

Twice we asked their leader to join the briefing. Today he declined & opted to cause commotion.

When he saw that the briefing continued despite his theatrics, he wanted to join in 🤷🏽‍♀️

I'm so shaken... The owner of my daughter's gymnastics club in Parkhurst has just suspended her.

I have tried to speak to her repeatedly about the stigma my four-year-old has faced as the only black child in an all-white group of kids. (She's adopted).

The kids have called her a boy, frozen her out, etc.

The owner of the club, Northstars Gymnastics, response was to tell her to move to another group. I noted that wouldn't solve the stigma issues. Her response was to suspend my daughter "with immediate effect".

Surely this isn't ok?
