@NicGomez13PoGo It’s tough for sure. You kind of have to find an opportunity to use it early, after getting red carded, or after using a Lillie late game. Saving your secret box and ultra balls if possible helps.
@NicGomez13PoGo You win the prize race every time with Gladion so it’s never been an issue for me. Just have to be mindful of Eri discarding your tool scrapper, secret box, etc.
@NicGomez13PoGo Psyduck is a must if you want to stand a chance against any Dusknoir deck, which have been seeing a lot of play since worlds. Rabsca fills Shaymin’s role but a little less consistently. Honestly I might try to put it back in depending on Slowking usage in the future.
@NicGomez13PoGo Excadrill is tough but you want to plan out your prize map and save the necessary cards. For example, bangle and Gladion for Excadrill, bangle and black belt for Genesect, boss for Metang, etc. Keep resources in your hand as much as possible so they don’t get discarded by Exca.
@NicGomez13PoGo Check my last post for the deck list I’ve been using. Probably not the most optimal 60 but it’s what I’ve been comfortable with. Chances are you don’t suck with the deck and just need more specific matchup experience.
@leandrofagundes But to be serious, you have to hope your opening hand has item cards you can use before getting itchy pollened. Or set up as much as you can with boom boom groove before Dragapult starts attacking.
@widest182 Thank you! Honestly the Excadrill matchup is still very difficult because it requires my key cards to not get discarded from undermine. 2 Gladion would make it easier but I still prefer black belt because it has good math for other matchups and can KO Genesect with brave bangle.
@Carranco707k Definitely skill dependent but playing around unfair stamp and red card is important. For example, it’s sometimes better to set up your board before KOing Budew (air balloons on Thwackeys, Rabsca in play, etc) so that you don’t lose your hand and still get 8 cards from Lillie.
@boahsdeckbox I think people tunnel vision with Gladion and run 2 because every list on Limitless does. It’s an amazing card, but can be detrimental early game when you don’t want to discard as many cards. Personally, having a spread of different damage modifiers is best for my play style.
