On 6 Dec 1942, in Stary Ciepielów & Rekówka, German military Police burned alive four Polish families who were hiding Jews.
Most of the victims were children.

230 years ago today, the Great Sejm of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth adopted the Constitution of 3 May, one of the oldest constitutions in the 🌍.

The document was very progressive for its time, designed to reform the Polish state by ensuring more freedom and equality.

77 years ago the Germans murdered a Polish family.The Ulma's were murdered alongside the Jews that they were hiding.
Today,we celebrate a day in memory of the Poles saving Jews during the German occupation. Remember the heroes during the second world war. Bow your head in memory.

80 years ago have passed since the Germans closed the gates of the Warsaw Ghetto. Today Minister @WKolarski lit memorial candles on behalf of President @AndrzejDuda to honor these victims in front of one of one of the last fragments of the ghetto wall still standing.

80 years ago today, during a round up in Warsaw, the Germans arrested over 2,000men. Among them was Captain Pilecki. He let himself be caught so he could be sent to KL Auschwitz in order to gather information about the camp & organise the resistance.
