Hey y'all, if anyones interested, I've been periodically streaming on Twitch over at https://t.co/GfwmboZE9o
Not streaming at the moment, but been slowly making my way through Resident Evil 2 Remake. Come on over if ye like.
Took the wife to see Avatar after watching it on my own. Guy on the counter was like ‘I’m sure screen 3 isn’t 3D’ but went in anyway.
Anyway lad was right and the screen doesn’t have 3D. Just sat here with this cursed image paused as they try fix it. This will haunt me forever.
@SpideyAnonymous Yep yep. I never understood this kind of outrage, from what we've seen from the trailer, it seems a pretty faithful adaptation of the games, and it's not like there being a black actress destroys the original game in some way, just playing the fucking game if its an issue😂
@SpideyAnonymous So they're angry that there's a black girl who was originally white, even though she dies in the first 5 minutes? But are fine with Joel, who was a middle aged southern white dude, being recast as a hispanic dude? Some real selective outrage there, wonder why. lmfao
@Time_Spinner this is what happens when animated movies cast actual voice actors with a wide range of vocal talents instead of just. a guy who is a regular screen actor because he's famous.
@HouseMaximoff I remember it being a decent sitcom, needless jabs at liberals had me rolling my eyes, but I remember it being fairly funny otherwise. Might need to watch again.
@SpideyAnonymous Lmao that's exactly what prompted this post. They wouldn't dare call people idiots over opinions like that, hell, let's be real, those types of people can't even order a coffee without panicking, but of course, people love grandstanding over nonsense.
The fact that the internet really empowers people to say shit to people that they'd never in a million years say to their faces really weirds me out some days. Mfers will say more vile shit about someone not liking a fictional character than they would to any irl circumstance.
