Response and Road Policing officers are attending an incident in Lancaster adjacent to the B68 alongside colleagues from NWAA, NWAS and LFRS.

The B68 will remain closed until further notice, please find alternative routes.

Today, NWAS crews alongside Tech and Water Rescue from LFRS got called out to Halton Green after a female that assaulted a copper during a protest march attempted to escape on a boat down the river Luna but got stuck.

Yesterday, Road Policing officers dealt with a variety of jobs ranging from just standard traffic stops to failure to stops.

Tonight at 20:00hrs, ARU and Response assisted the Intelligence Team from HQ in executing a warrant in South Shore.

The property which had the warrant served upon it was found to be a Cannabis “grow house”.

- 800g of Cannabis plants were seized.
