My view on the next cycle:
Crypto has merged with legacy finance. Today, banks are offering crypto to their customers, exchanges are offering stocks. We have stablecoins, more middlemen, and more regulation.
Investors don't care about DeFi anymore. Convenience won. Doing everything within the banking ecosystem is what most wanted, apparently. That's why I think the next cycle will be about privacy, safety, and speed. People will start looking for ways to remove middlemen again.
That's where zero-knowledge proof and ProveX come into the picture.
People won't use ProveX because of PRVX. They'll use it because it solves a real problem. Most users won't even know PRVX exists at first, or that every transaction triggers the buys and burn function.
Only later will they discover they can own a piece of the product via PRVX. To get it, they'll need to bridge stables or WETH to PulseChain, swap on PulseX, and use PLS for gas. Like we all needed ETH during the ICO bubble in 2017.
That's why sequencing matters.
ProveX adoption brings new users. New users buy PRVX. Traffic flows into PulseChain and benefits PLS, PLSX, INC, and eventually HEX.
Buying HEX today hoping for mad gains is like buying the S&P 500 as an investment vehicle to gain exposure to AI. It works, but the results is extremely tempered. Buying PLS and PLSX is like buying the Nasdaq. Buying PRVX is like seed-funding OpenAI and Anthropic when they first started.
You're not going to see life-changing gains overnight. We're still in a bear market, BTC and ETH haven't bottomed yet. It's about me looking back at this tweet a year from now, either laughing or crying 🤣
This is not financial advice.
@toblerusse SOL went from $8 to $250
Zcash from $20 to $1,700
ETH from $800 to $5,000 (double top)
Plenty of winners. Just not EVERY shitcoin.
If eHEX had made a double top like ETH, it would have reached $0.50... A double top is good.
Instead, eHEX went down 99% since 2021.
Some facts:
Here is the HEX chart on PulseChain. Mostly sideways action, trending down overall. Every time the OA buys and pumps the price, the community dumps.
PulseChain launched in May 2023 after two long years of waiting and a LOT of hype. The SEC news actually came in late July 2023. That's 3 months of price action from the time it launched to the SEC news. Yet the price was already dropping before any legal drama. Even the highly anticipated launch couldn't sustain a rally.
--> No legal drama, price did not pump
Since then, the price has mostly moved sideways or down, with occasional OA buy backs, quickly sold off by the community.
--> OA buy backs, price still made new ATLs
Meanwhile, ETH reached $5,000 twice! Including a run from $1,100 to $5,000. PulseChain didn't follow. It actually went lower.
--> Waiting for $10,000 ETH? I have bad news...
Now RH is in custody. The community still believes it'll be alright, and the price will eventually moon.
What years of price action tell us:
1. RH free for years? No sustained rally
2. ETH rallying to an ATH? No sustained rally
3. Crypto bull market? No sustained rally
4. OA buying? No sustained rally
5. OG's are buying the S&P 500 now
Personal opinion:
I've been following RH since 2017, haven't sold yet, not even HEX at $0.5 (a costly mistake). I'm still here after all the drama, but looking objectively at the price action, I struggle to see what could drive the price significantly higher if I'm being honest.
Whether RH gets released or remains in custody, what fundamentally changes? We've had the PulseChain launch, ETH rallies, a crypto bull market, OA buybacks up to $25M at one point. None created a sustained uptrend or new ATHs. The community is still relying on these despite the data showing that these don't do anything to the price.
If the game is to catch the bottom and sell on a double, doesn't that make breaking new ATHs even harder? It's just adds more sell pressure at the lows. Yield is gone, and so is the value proposition. Turn yield back on, and we'd probably dump another 99.999999%. It's a chicken & egg problem. We need new adoption, but what's attracting new people?
And look at RH getting caught with his pants down in Turkey. Shelves of designer handbags, jewelry, and luxury crap. I thought all that was just rage marketing. Why flee Finland with a container full of Gucci bags? That's where I'm losing faith. The math doesn't math. Black T-shirt in front of the camera, piles of luxury goods conveniently out of frame. I thought it was all a stunt. Analyzing all the data we have today, it's not looking pretty. "It's a stunt from RH, 5D chess to resolve all his legal issues".
No it's not 🤣
@Blockhacked CZ, Roger Ver, and plenty of other crypto figures have faced serious legal trouble yet remain in the public eye. Guilty or not, they still show up and give interviews.
Heck, even SBF is still doing interviews on major podcasts.
@Hexdreamer66 Saylor barely sells BTC because it keeps appreciating. Why dump an asset that keeps making you money?
Bitcoin Miners used to dump BTC like it was nothing back in the days. Until it became valuable.
The issue is not the 2x bonus. It's the fact that PLS has no value.
@Philospher3000 If the RH ecosystem ever moons, ProveX will get there first. But that's not the problem we're dealing with.
The real problem is the obvious lack of follow-through. We had a year to follow-through. Shall we add another 3-4 years of shaking out the weak hands?
@Moomoothyme right... I won't judge his tastes. He can spend his money however he wants, if he likes handbags, so be it 😂
What concerns me is that the "rage marketing" goodies made it all the way to Turkey. Why?
@Trips_Wood@RichardHeartWin Exactly. That leaves us with two options: 1/ turns out, RH was the Wizard of Oz of crypto, 2/ he engineered his exit through rage marketing.
The facts I mentioned earlier rule out 2. Ok, he won't go to jail, we're back to square one. Price will still struggle.
@001Cryptomania You are absolutely right. I also think stocks have topped.
The takeaway though is that OGs are not buying the dip anymore. So who will?
PRVX is using the same playbook as eHEX back in the day. I’m seeing way too many similarities between the two.
The native token lives on PulseChain this time, not Ethereum. There goes your marketing.
"Some thoughts went into this stuff" 🤓
It’s great to see RH coins sustainably printing green candles. This one in particular could quickly turn into a beautiful looking chart. We’re talking new ATHs and price discovery. It’s been a minute since we’ve seen that on PulseChain. Something is cooking.
