@genesis_band This turned out to be their last album. They sounded more like a ‘90s grunge alternative band as Genesis.

The title track, however, was a strong standout. But Ray Wilson was not Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel.

It did well in the UK and Europe, but not in the US or Canada.

Natalie Merchant was only 17.

They debuted in Mother’s Bar on Labor Day weekend. Hope you can feature them. 📻

@Wildaboutmusic It is also the first and only album with Gram Parsons. Gram would later form The Flying Burrito Brothers after this album.

This can be considered the first county rock album of its kind.
