Participation of representatives from ASEAN, the African Union, OAS, and the EU highlighted the importance of interregional cooperation and reaffirmed the #OSCE’s pioneering role in advancing cyber CBMs within and beyond the OSCE region.
The 🇵🇱 Chair of OSCE IWG on Cyber, Amb. @MarekJSzczygiel opened group's 2nd meeting of 2026, which featured an interregional exchange on the implementation of cyber Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs).

Poland stands in full solidarity with Romania after a Russian drone struck a residential building in the city of Galati. Putin’s reckless actions demonstrate a complete disregard for international law and European security. This incident is yet another reminder that Russian aggression directly threatens NATO territory and population. Our response will be coordinated with our NATO Allies #StrongerTogether
At a joint meeting of the #OSCE Permanent Council and the Forum for Security Cooperation Poland 🇵🇱condemned Russia's recent massive strikes on civilian infrastructure in Kyiv. We 🇵🇱consider Russia's threats against diplomatic missions unacceptable.

In connection with the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation calling on foreign citizens, including diplomatic staff, to immediately leave Kyiv due to plans to carry out strikes on military targets and decision-making centres, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland declares that it continues to regard all attacks on Ukraine, including those against civilian facilities and populations, as acts of unjustified aggression resulting in enormous human losses and infrastructural damage.

Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses solidarity and unequivocal support for Latvia and other countries facing increasing pressure from Russia. We condemn false narratives and unjustified claims spread by Russia regarding the alleged use of the territory or airspace of Latvia or that of other NATO Allies by Ukrainian drones to carry out attacks against Russia.
The Russian Federation is the aggressor that launched an unprovoked war against Ukraine. Under international law, Ukraine has every right to defend itself.
We call on the Russian side to drop the practice of spreading lies and making escalatory statements. We strongly oppose making threats against other NATO Allies.
As part of its failed efforts to intimidate European audiences, weaken support for Ukraine, and justify further aggression, the Kremlin keeps issuing threats to strike ‘decision-making centres’ in the Baltic states, under the baseless claim that the Baltic states allow their airspace to be used for attacks on Russia.
🌊 The countries of the Baltic Sea region are united by a shared history, culture and maritime traditions.
The Polish Presidency is strengthening these ties by promoting international co-operation aimed at protecting cultural heritage and supporting innovative cultural initiatives ➡️ an important element in strengthening regional resilience.
Particular importance is attached to cultural and maritime heritage — its identification, protection and inclusion in spatial planning ➡️ all of which are key elements of the region’s responsible development.
The Polish Presidency also supports the active participation of young people in regional co-operation, including through support for the Baltic Sea Region Youth Forum.
Such initiatives show that the future of the Baltic Sea is being shaped jointly by different generations. 🤝🏻
📅 Today, 41 OSCE participating States, including 🇫🇷, have activated the Moscow Mechanism, a crucial instrument for the protection of human rights.
🎯The goal is clear: to document the indoctrination and militarization of Ukrainian children by Russia. This is the sixth activation of the Moscow Mechanism since February 2022.
The “Moscow Mechanism” is one of the OSCE’s main instruments for the protection of human rights. It may be activated when there are indications of serious breaches in a participating State, at the initiative of at least ten other States.
✅ A mission of independent experts is then mandated to gather testimonies, establish facts on the ground and make recommendations.
📹 Discover in this video produced in collaboration with 🇫🇮, 🇩🇪 and 🇺🇦 how this mechanism works, and what it is used for.

Russia has weaponized even children. Today, 41
@OSCE participating States, incl. Poland 🇵🇱 invoked the #MoscowMechanism to investigate Russia’s policy of indoctrination and militarization of Ukrainian children — both in Russia and in the occupied territories of Ukraine.
More than 20,000 Ukrainian children have been forcibly transferred and deported by Russia, as documented by international investigators, human rights organisations, and Ukrainian authorities.
Hundreds or even thousands of kilometres away from their homes and families, they are subjected to so-called ‘educational programmes’ designed to erase their Ukrainian identity. Millions more in Ukraine have been deprived of a safe childhood by the brutal Russian invasion.
Russia’s systematic violations of children’s rights cannot go unpunished. Coordinated international action is needed more than ever to trace and return every child home.
Kremlin constantly tries to whitewash its crimes past and present. Russia has always pursued colonialist ambitions and used armed force to achieve its dirty goals. No bogus excuse can change facts - Soviet Union was an occupier.
#WordsMatter
History tells that brutal dictators MUST be stopped until the price gets too high. Kremlin publicly embraces the USSR's crimes as its legacy. No amount of historical distortion can vindicate the Soviets' own role as occupiers.
Occupation is not liberation.
