First Hurling experience and this is what I’ve gathered.

It’s a game played by men built like rugby players, trying to score field goals like American football but also goals like football using hands like handball but also bats called Hurley’s similar to Lacrosse while implementing a no travelling rule like basketball whilst sprinkling a little bit of MMA violence in there with it.

It’s absolutely incredible, what a sport.

Maybe if you read up on the specific reason he chooses to take Irish citizenship you will understand a bit more.
