Ukrainian President Zelenskyy sent an open letter to Putin. It includes some hard facts unpleasant for the Russian dictator. However, he also proposes a direct meeting for ending this war, on neutral soil, e.g. Switzerland, Türkiye or an Arab country.
Ukraine is having the strategic initiative. Putin is getting humiliated again and again. The war has reached Moscow and Saint Petersburg. Putin is under pressure, and even some Russian allies must feel it by now that Russia cannot win.
If Putin refuses then it would give Ukraine even more political backing. If Putin gives in, then during a phase of weakness. A clever gambit by President Zelenskyy.
⚡️ BREAKING: President Zelenskyy, in an open letter to Putin, has called on him to meet to end the war.
"If you do not personally come to the conclusion that it is time to end this war, Ukraine will continue fighting for its existence. We will have those who support us," the president wrote.
Open Letter
To the President of the Russian Federation
From the President of Ukraine
When you came to power in Russia more than 26 years ago, many people in Ukraine viewed you positively. That is how it was. But that is now in the past.
Now, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians view it positively that our long-range drones paid a visit to the opening of your forum in St. Petersburg, covering a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. As you know very well, that distance is not the limit of our capabilities.
Ukraine is cutting off Russia's logistics in the direction of Crimea. The only remaining route for delivering gasoline and large cargoes to Crimea is the Kerch Bridge.
And we remember how beautifully the trucks burn and explode on that Bridge.

Today, I presented state awards of Ukraine to the people without whom Operation “Spiderweb” would not have happened. We have no right to name them – everything remains absolutely classified and will remain so for a long time. This is already a historic operation by the Security Service of Ukraine, one that was carefully prepared, and on this very day one year ago, it entered its final stage – striking Russian military equipment. Farther than Ukrainian long-range capabilities had ever reached before. As precisely as no one in Russia expected. And as justly as the enemy’s strategic aviation deserves.
“Spiderweb” destroyed or at least damaged 41 aircraft. Never before had Russia lost such equipment, in such numbers, and as a result of strikes by drones that were incomparably cheaper. Ukraine has once again proved that it knows how to act asymmetrically, that it defends itself actively and truly creatively, and that Russia has no chance of overcoming Ukrainian courage. Ukraine will always be one step ahead – in technology, in bravery, and in the ability to capture the world’s attention and rally the support of millions of human hearts.
Ukraine is now applying long-range sanctions against Russia for this war literally every day. We did not start this war, we did not provoke it, and the only thing we wanted for Ukraine and Ukrainians was peace. But as long as the Russians choose the opposite, and as long as Russia does everything to drag out this war and expand it, Ukrainians will continue to find responses that will definitely work. I thank all our warriors for their precision! I thank the Security Service of Ukraine for its long-range leadership! I thank everyone who helps us! Glory to Ukraine!
The Middle East is being overwhelmed by Iranian drones right now. Makes you wonder who could help deal with that problem. Who actually has a black belt in fighting drones? The people who have been eating them for breakfast for the past three years: Ukraine, with its interceptor drones and hard earned battlefield experience.
Could this be the moment when MAGA Americans start to see that Ukraine has been fighting the very systems now threatening the U.S.?

For Ukraine, the Trump presidency has brought more merciless targeting of civilians by Russia, more unrestrained devastation - all enabled by a US president shameless in his pro-Putin sympathies. The pretense of Trump as a "peacemaker" in Ukraine is the cruelest of his lies.
I don't need historical shit to end this war and move to diplomacy. Because it's just a delay tactic. I read no less history books than Putin. And I learned a lot. I know more about his country than he knows about Ukraine. Simply because I have been to Russia – to many cities. And I knew a lot of people there. He has never been to Ukraine this many times. He was only in big cities. I went to small cities. From the northern part to the southern part. Everywhere. I know their mentality. That's why I don't want to lose time on all these things. It's about them. They decided to have such a system. The Russians decided to change themselves. The Russians decided that they needed a new Tsar. It's up to them.
But there is security. There is a big war waged against us. This is our lives. The only thing that I want to speak about with him is that I think that we need to resolve it in the most successful way. I mean to end this war quickly. That is why I want to speak only about such things.
