Vouchers have had their day on the House floor this session. Twice. And failed on record votes. Twice.

It’s time to focus now on issues we can all get around, like #txed funding, meaningful STAAR and accountability reform, and teacher recruitment/retention. #txlege

The #txlege #SB8 will not eliminate STAAR but instead add additional tests while including the largest voucher bill in the country. Would private schools be included in testing? No.
