PNW BOCES will soon be off the electrical grid, saving money and demonstrating environmental stewardship! More than 6,400 solar panels have been installed on the edges of the main Yorktown campus under the direction of our O&M team. John Madden’s Urban Forestry students are helping facilitate the project by building the emergency access path from the Tech South building to the solar fields.
