@Jonathan_Blow My wife and I played through the entirety of The Witness together, one of the first games she truly loved. Once the kids go down, we’re starting Sinking Star tonight. Can’t wait. Thanks for all your effort.
@WurzelRoot This is the explanation. Seems impossible that there’s enough paying simps to support so many of these whores to be making millions a year on the platform, but you must consider: India exists.
@DanGSHF138947@AtridaEl@maklelan@DineshDSouza Ah, the classic.

Why engage at all?
@justalexoki I’m not trying to take a “side” here (I’ve very much undecided myself) but this seemed like a valid critique here. The dude was raised Christian, and his “transformation” after “taking it” is not evidence for its truth of the religion. https://t.co/OqjCvyJHsq
@memeticsisyphus Honestly engaging with creationists and their “arguments” was an eye opening experience for me. The state of basic scientific literacy among many American evangelicals (and thusly a significant amount of the American voting public) is… very poor.
@Innovocaine@memeticsisyphus There are excellent explanations for the Cambrian explosion if you’re genuinely curious. One is that that shells (and other things that more easily fossilize) became more common. No mystery. The “theory” is as solid as anything, is testable, and has predictive power.
@mgzxbt@atelicinvest Daughters swim class needs new forms filled out ✅, preschool tour conflicts with my PT - send email to reschedule ✅, find time to get wife’s tires rotated✅. Wife runs a small business and is using muse 5x more than me.
@StefanMolyneux It’s all just word games and circular definitions from apologists. They’re unwilling to entertain an alternative worldview out of fear of eternal conscious torment. It’s self-preservation, never honest debate.
@DandelionQueen8@MaelFallet@darwintojesus There is no “coordination” necessary, the two strategies aren’t codependent. Once gamete size varies, selection favors divergence: larger gametes benefit from greater provisioning, while smaller gametes benefit from greater number/mobility. Those pressures reinforce each other.
@DandelionQueen8@MaelFallet@darwintojesus Nope! Ancestral organisms started with gametes of the same size, but a gradual tradeoff occurred as some invested in fewer, larger gametes, vs others created millions of tiny gametes. This was gradual, compatible, and beneficial at every stage. Can be observed today.
@omooretweets Audience capture by the worst, most neurotic audience imaginable. I like Hank Green, always have despite not being his target demographic. Like you point out, most viewers/commenters don’t care. Vocal minority of radicals bullying him into submission for effectively nothing.
