Project Outreach Gulf Coast is a unique organization that strives to create genuine relationships between individuals with disabilities and their communities.
About last Night! Our Night of Change was a huge success! Kate Swenson shared her heart along with many others impacted by disabilities. The army is growing! Next up MERGE: MOBILE!
We are so thrilled to make another trip to the Plains as the Auburn Men's Basketball team takes on LSU to help us keep Shooting 2 Change the way we see others with autism and other disabilities. We are excited the Tigers are a part of the movement to promote autism acceptance.
The best of the best! That’s how we felt about the Auburn Women’s basketball team, Cheerleaders, and TigerPaws supporting Shooting 2 Change last night! Thanks for your ongoing support of promoting autism acceptance through athletics.
You don’t want to be left out in January for this year’s Shooting 2 Change 2024. Sign up today to be a part of the biggest autism acceptance event in Alabama!

It's getting closer!! Shooting 2 Change 2024 is almost here! We are excited for what we hope to be the biggest year yet! We can't help to keep Shooting 2 Change the way we see individuals with autism and other disabilities. @POGC1@coachdpowell@jscottparks@AHSAAUpdates
81 student from Project Outreach Daphne High kicked their year off with an orientation day! Dr. Tyler Sexton shared his story as the students learned to promote disability awareness, acceptance, and understanding through radically inclusive relationships.
You can catch a cold or a fish, but you can’t catch kindness! It must be taught and witnessed by others. This is the Project Outreach Effect! Let’s teach kindness in a radically inclusive way! #theprojectoutreacheffect
To all our students, teachers, administrators, and parents, if you can only remember to do one thing today, choose to be kind! We hope you have an incredible first day and school year! #theprojectoutreacheffect
How do we know we are making a difference? Well Ontario, Canada and California are interested in what we are doing!! I don’t think it’s a coincidence! We can be the difference for disability awareness, acceptance, and understanding in every school! #theprojectoutreacheffect
As many of our friends and chapters head back to school this week, this is our advice for everyone! In a world where you can be anything, be kind! Have a great first week and a wonderful school year! #theprojectoutreacheffect@Shooting2Change
Despite the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) having a profound impact, since being passed in congress 33 years ago, disabled Americans are still three times less likely to have a job; and when they do, they often earn less for doing the same work. https://t.co/3viVc6cR1j
We’ve seen the meme and could not agree more, “teach your students about kids with disabilities,” as school starts back. But don’t stop there. Teach them how to say hi to their differently abled friends. Teach them about how we are all different and that’s ok!
SAVE THE DATE! The 10th year of Shooting 2 Change is coming this January! 10 years of promoting autism acceptance through athletics! We expect this year to be our biggest yet! @AHSAAUpdates@coachdpowell@POGC1@jscottparks
