🔴LIVE LOS ANGELES (LAX) AIRPORT ACTION! (June 30th, 2026) https://t.co/USI2DGRt7v via @YouTube
Aircraft N705DN, a Boeing 777-200, was acquired by Jetran from Delta Air Lines in December 2020 as passenger variant. The aircraft was subsequently stored at Fort Worth Alliance Airport (AFW), Texas, where it remained from February 10, 2022, until June 11, 2026, undergoing conversion. During this period, it conducted several test flights in and out of AFW.
Following its conversion, the B777-232LR(MF) flew to Grissom Air Reserve Base (GUS) in Peru, Indiana, on February 24, 2026, before returning to AFW for additional test flights. It was later stored at GUS from June 11 to June 24, 2026.
On June 24, 2026, N705DN departed Peru, Indiana, and returned to Fort Worth Alliance Airport. During this ferry flight, the aircraft performed the now-infamous low pass over Horseshoe Bay Resort, Texas, before continuing on and landing at AFW.

Jetran, owner of Boeing 777-200LR N705DN, just issued a statement on that risky test flight maneuver in Texas.
They’re not happy with the crew’s actions, stressing the aircraft isn’t Qatar Airways’ yet — no Qatar pilots were onboard. The plane is still theirs during passenger-to-cargo conversion by Mammoth Freighters.
Jetran expects a full investigation and accountability for those responsible.
That right wingtip was extremely close to the ground on that pass. When I first watched it I thought I was going to be watching a crash. Extremely reckless. The aircraft according to data if correct was at 760ft, the airport is at 722ft. That’s only 38ft up and then making that turn I bet that wing was only a few ft from the ground.
