Das war die Antwort @AuswaertigesAmt auf meine Frage, wie die #Bundesregierung die Ehrung des NS-Kollaborateurs Andrij Melnyk durch die 🇺🇦Staatsführung bewertet und ob sie die Kritik von @yadvashem daran teilt:

Die Holocaust-Gedenkstätte Yad Vashem hatte die offizielle staatliche Ehrung durch @ZelenskyyUa & Co zuvor scharf kritisiert:

»Die Ehrung des Anführers einer Bewegung, die Nazi-Deutschland während der Verfolgung und Ermordung von Millionen von Juden unterstützte und mit ihm kollaborierte, untergräbt die moralische Integrität, die für das Gedenken an den Holocaust unerlässlich ist.«

Ähnlich scharfe Kritik kam auch von der 🇮🇱 & 🇵🇱Regierung. Deutschland ignorierte den Vorfall bisher komplett. Und gab auf der #BPK ernsthaft vor, von dieser offiziellen Ehrung eines Nazi-Kollabo und der entsprechenden int. Kritik nichts mitbekommen zu haben. Wohlgemerkt, ein Vorfall der politisch wie medial zum Zeitpunkt der Frage bereits internationale hohe Wellen geschlagen hatte.

Es scheint ganz so, dass, wenn es Kritik am Agieren der 🇺🇦Regierung gibt, selbst Yad Vashem plötzlich für die Bundesregierung keine Referenz mehr ist...

Ukraine did not sign the 2022 peace agreement for fear of losing army strength - Victoria Nuland

Russia had demanded to limit the Ukrainian army to the size of the French and British armies.

This was unacceptable to NATO as this would have disabled future attacks on Russia.

It also would have reversed most NATO investments and re-armaments in Ukraine.

Purely selfish from the Western point of view. So, Ukraine was sacrificed.

Old age is not simply what happens to a face or a body.
It is memory looking for a place to rest.
And what an older person needs - more than advice, more than solutions, more than someone telling them how to feel - is simply someone willing to sit down, be still, and listen.

Ausgaben: Der Berliner Senat plant für den Christopher Street Day am 25. Juli erstmals einen eigenen Truck. Laut Senatskanzlei belaufen sich die Kosten der Kampagne auf insgesamt 375.000 Euro. Die Teilnahmegebühr für den CSD beträgt nach Angaben der Veranstalter 6.250 Euro.

Kritik: Die Berliner SPD bezeichnet die Dimension der Ausgaben als unverhältnismäßig. Für den Wagen und die begleitende Kampagne stellt die Senatskanzlei 140.000 Euro bereit. Weitere 235.000 Euro werden als Sachleistungen eingebracht.

Viele Berliner dürften sich fragen, warum für solche Projekte Geld vorhanden ist, während andere Veranstaltungen längst gestrichen wurden.
