มีคนถามว่าตลาดอเมริกามันแพงเกินไปหรือเปล่า? ผมยังลงทุนอยู่มั๊ย…??

ผมยังลงทุนในตลาดอเมริกาอยู่ครับ ถ้าใครตามผมมานาน จะทราบว่าผมลงทุนตลอด buy/hold + hedge มาเรื่อยๆ (เรื่องภาษี คือส่วนสำคัญอย่างนึงที่ทำให้สามารถ hold หุ้นมาได้นาน) แต่ช่วงนี้ hedge หนักขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ…

(post นี้ไม่ใช่คำเตือนว่าตลาดจะล่ม… แต่เป็นการพูดในแง่ risk/reward)

ทุกคนพูดถึง Equity Risk Premium ว่าใกล้ศูนย์ .. forward earnings yield 4.0-4.1% เทียบ 10Y yield 4.38-4.40%..

แต่ Fed Model มันมีปัญหาเชิงทฤษฎีที่ไม่ค่อยมีใครพูดถึง… earnings yield เป็น real concept… treasury yield เป็น nominal… เอามาลบกันตรงๆ มันผิด

Aswath Damodaran implied ERP ที่ build จาก full DDM model โดยใช้ consensus cash flow และ buyback yield ให้ตัวเลขที่น่าเชื่อถือกว่า… และตอนนี้อยู่ที่ระดับต่ำที่สุดในรอบ 20 ปี

ปกติ forward estimates คือตัวเลขที่ optimistic ที่สุดใน cycle… ถ้าใช้ Shiller CAPE earnings แทน… ERP ตอนนี้ติดลบแล้ว.. 0.1% ที่เห็นคือ best case… ไม่ใช่ base case…

ที่ผมจับตาอยู่ไม่ใช่ macro headline แต่เป็น incremental revenue per dollar ของ AI capex ของ Magnificent 7 แต่ละตัว… ซึ่ง AI capex hyperscalers guide ตอนนี้ใกล้ $725B ต่อปีแล้ว…

แต่ที่น่าสนใจกว่าคือ revenue ที่ได้ต่อทุก incremental dollar ที่บริษัทลงทุนเพิ่มกำลังเริ่มแสดง early signs ของ diminishing returns ในหลายตัว… ตลาดยังไม่ได้ price in ความเสี่ยงนี้เต็มที่…

ถ้า Q2 เริ่มแสดงว่า capex burn เร็วกว่า monetization จริงๆ ก็มีโอกาสสูงที่ growth narrative จะเริ่มถูก challenge เพราะมันแปลว่า depreciation พุ่งสูง.. free cash flow ถูก squeeze.. earnings miss consensus ที่ baked in ทุกอย่างไว้แล้ว…

และใครที่ถือ S&P 500 แล้วคิดว่ากระจายความเสี่ยงแล้ว จริงๆ โดน Magnificent 7 หนักถึง ~34% โดยอัตโนมัติ… single factor bet บน AI monetization ตัวเดียว… ถ้า Q2 revision เริ่มลบ… correlation ภายใน 7 ตัวนี้ก็มีโอกาสเข้าใกล้กันมากขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็ว… diversification ที่คิดว่าตอนแรกมีอยู่ก็อาจหายไปในช่วงที่ต้องการมันพอดี

และ risk ทั้งหมดข้างต้นยิ่งถูกขยายขึ้นจากสิ่งที่ตลาดเริ่มชินจนเริ่มมองข้ามไปแล้ว.. ตลาดเริ่มชินชากับ Trump กลับไปกลับมาเรื่อง Iran deal/no-deal จนแทบไม่ react แล้ว… แต่จริงๆ มันก็ยัง react อยู่แหละ แค่ชินและฟื้นเร็วขึ้น… 😆

แต่สิ่งที่ตลาดมองข้ามไม่ใช่ว่า deal จะสำดร็จหรือไม่.. มันก็คือ structural lag ที่เกิดขึ้นแล้ว… Strait of Hormuz ที่ปิดมาหลายสัปดาห์ได้ draw down global oil inventory ไปมากแล้ว… IEA บอกชัดว่า normalization ของ supply ใช้เวลาหลายเดือนหลัง strait เปิด ไม่ใช่หลายวัน… แปลว่าถึงแม้ deal สำเร็จพรุ่งนี้… inflation pressure จาก energy ยังอยู่ในระบบต่อไปอีกนาน… Fed ยังตัดดอกเบี้ยไม่ได้… ไม่มี Fed put… ซึ่งเป็น risk ที่ tweet ของ Trump เปลี่ยนไม่ได้…

ซึ่งก็ทำให้ 60/40 portfolio ที่หลายตำรานิยมกัน.. น่ากังวลในสภาวะนี้กว่าที่คิด… ที่ผ่านมา stocks-bonds correlation เป็นลบ หุ้นลง bond ก็ขึ้นมาช่วย… เป็นแบบนี้มาหลายสิบปี… แต่ correlation แบบนั้นไม่ได้ fixed ตลอด… มัน conditional บนสภาวะเงินเฟ้อ… ตอนเงินเฟ้อต่ำ correlation เป็นลบ ระบบทำงานปกติ… ตอนเงินเฟ้อสูง correlation พลิกเป็นบวก หุ้นกับ bond ลงพร้อมกัน… เหมือนที่เกิดตอน 2022…

PCE ยังอยู่ที่ 3.5%… น้ำมันยังแพง… Earnings miss + multiple compression + no Fed put + bond ที่ไม่ได้ช่วย.. portfolio ที่คิดว่า diversified แล้วอาจไม่ได้ hedge อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพเลยในสภาวะนี้…

ผมจะลด hedge ถ้า incremental revenue per dollar of AI capex ของ Magnificent 7 เริ่มฟื้นจริงใน Q2… oil inventory normalize จริงๆ ไม่ใช่แค่ deal ปิดสำเร็จ… และ stocks-bonds correlation กลับมาเป็นลบอีกครั้ง… ตอนนี้ยังไม่เห็นสัญญาณพวกนั้น…

ผม buy/hold/hedge มาโดยตลอด… และยังอยู่ในตลาดเต็มตัว… แต่ในสภาวะที่ earnings growth ดีจริง แต่ risk premium แทบไม่มี… correlation เปลี่ยน และ capex efficiency กำลังถูก test..

การ hedge ไม่ใช่ความกลัว มันคือการเคารพความเป็นจริงของ probability distribution ที่เปลี่ยนไป…

1/ Bitcoin: Short-Term On-chain Cost Basis

Indicator ที่เราพูดถึงบ่อยว่าเป็นแนวต้านสำคัญในบริเวณนี้นั้นคือ Short-Term Cost Basis หรือต้นทุนเฉลี่ยของนักลงทุนระยะสั้นบน Bitcoin ที่ในช่วง 2 เดือนที่ผ่านมานั้นอยู่ในสถานะขาดทุนมาโดยตลอด แต่จากการปรับตัวขึ้นของราคาที่รุนแรงทำให้นักลงทุนระยะสั้นนั้นกลับมาเท่าทุนอีกครั้งหนึ่งแล้วที่บริเวณราคา $93,000

อย่างไรก็ตามการขึ้นมาถึงจุดนี้นั้นก็ยังต้องระมัดระวังเพราะในมุมนักลงทุนระยะสั้นที่ถือขาดทุนจนกลับมาเท่าทุนได้ก็มีบางส่วนที่จะขายออกไปได้เพื่อลดความเสี่ยงที่จะขาดทุนอีกครั้งหนึ่งด้วยเช่นกัน

Often, a mini-cycle forms within a bigger cycle.

You can use the mini-cycle structure as an entry trigger to jump into the higher time frame bull cycle.

1. Mark the higher time frame range.

2. Mark higher time frame cycle stages.

3. Find coins in stage 4 (pre-parabola stage 5).

4. Look for dips into/below the range low.

5. Check for a mini-cycle forming near the range low.

6. Spot mini-cycle stage 3 at/below the range low.

7. Buy the mini-cycle higher high into stage 4.

8. Buy the retest and let the mini-cycle play out.

9. Mini-cycle transitions into the higher time frame cycle.
