There are a lot of conflicting rumors swirling around about Pirates of the Caribbean 6.
It gets very complicated and confusing trying to keep up with it all, so for the sake of my sanity i’ll only be posting OFFICIAL updates from Disney, Jerry Bruckheimer, etc on the movie…
replayed the pirates of the caribbean tall tales in sea of thieves and just wanted to reiterate how special they are- a perfect celebration of two magical worlds coming together 🖤🏴☠️
still desperately hoping we get a continuation someday (captain jack promised to return!!)
23 years ago today, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl had its world premiere at the Disneyland Resort in California! Take a look at these photos of the incredible event, back before anyone knew of the heights the franchise would later achieve!
Rewatching a lot of Dead Man's Chest behind the scenes stuff, and came across this quick shot. It looks like this could've been a cut scene of James Norrington waiting for a ship to arrive to take him back to Port Royal? 🤔 Very interesting.
NEW: Disney shared a first look at Walt Disney Imagineering’s next-generation Audio-Animatronics technology debuting today on Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland. The pirate figure transforms from a human into a skeleton.
Happy birthday to Martin Klebba, who played Marty in the Pirates of the Caribbean films! I love how Marty evolved as a side character in the first film to an integral part of the crew as the franchise progressed! He’s such a fun character.
Happy 5th Anniversary to Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life! The original creative pitch I put together opened with a simple phrase, "imagine the possibilities". The goal was to bring the possibilities of these two great pirate worlds together. Thanks for playing and enjoying it!
Calling all Pirates fans! To celebrate the upcoming 20th anniversary of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, I want to involve as many fans as possible in the episode commemorating the anniversary!

This Friday, we’ll be taking a deeper look at the 2006 refurbishment of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Take a look at these amazing pieces of concept art done by Chris Turner. I love how most of what is depicted here actually made it into the attraction!
Jack Sparrow’s entrance in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End (2007).
The absurdity of it, the visual creativity, and the way it perfectly captures who Jack is.
An all-time great character introduction.
James Norrington may have a tragic arc in Pirates of the Caribbean, but he’s without a doubt one of my favorite characters. Even when he reaches his lowest, he is still yearning for the life he once had. And when he gets that back, he finds out that it’s no longer what he wanted.
The opening sequence of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is absolutely fantastic. The arrival of Lord Beckett and the EITC along with the arrest of Will and Elizabeth just shows how the stakes have been immediately raised right from the start of the film.
