Sexual abuse has permeated our lives so much that it goes unnoticed and the acts of sexual abuse are seen as cultural fixtures. @POVofChristina talks to @mrtonylewisjr and I about her experience as a prosecutor using the restorative justice model to intervene in sexual abuse cases.
Christina Jones is the Founder of “Command Joy Co.” and the creator of “Breaking Silence: Black Women, Sexual Assault, and the Church.” It is an effort to center the experience of Black women to create a safer space for all. This is a very important dialogue about the work she is doing to combat the silence around sexual abuse in the Black community.
