Providers & Personalisation is a practice & policy change programme supporting voluntary sector providers with showcasing good practice in self-directed support
Thank you to everyone from @InclusionScot People Led Policy Panel who joined our workshops on Big Ideas for future of #socialcare this week. Some great ideas to take forward about #selfdirectedsupport national assessment process & eligibility, ILF & an end to care charging.
Nearly all of us will need care or support at some point in our lives. That is only possible if we invest wisely in #socialcare now. Then it will be there in the future, not just us, but for everyone who needs it. #sustainability#notforprofit
Scotland is a caring country How we came together during #COVID19 reflects this. #notforprofit providers are crucial to ensuring people receive the support they need. Let's now focus on building on support that is working well & investing in the social care workforce. #socialcare
All health and social care workers in Scotland now have access to mental health support through a national wellbeing helpline.
The helpline will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The number to call is 0800 111 4191.
A welcome opportunity to review how care & support for adults & older people is planned, commissioned and delivered. We are ready to engage and contribute #thirdsector#socialcare#excellence
The First Minister is right that quality social care matters to all of us. The independent review is a chance to make the right reforms to the system. The review needs to listen first and foremost to the real experience of people, providers and those who work in the system.
While it's good that a national [adult social care?] system is at last firmly on the political agenda, the need for social care support to achieve human rights, equal citizenship, independent living is very great and very urgent.
Hi folks, who is interested in getting involved? If you have lived experience, are a support provider, work for a Health and Social Care Partnership, carer or someone else, we are interested your views.
