Strange times. Once ICC used to celebrate the game, its players, its moments, it was never meant to promote individuals sitting in boardrooms.
We’ve seen eras of powerful administrators before, but never this level of blatant self-promotion through official channels.
The ICC isn’t a personal brand. It represents the sport, its history, and millions of fans across the world. Its voice should reflect the game, not amplify one individual.
They need to understand that cricket is bigger than any chairman.
