The “ new Syria”🤢

Idlib: Severe floods inundate displaced camps - residents furiously protest against Golani

A heavy rainstorm that hit northwestern Syria led to widespread flooding and water intrusion into refugee and displaced camps in the Idlib province.
In the footage, a local displaced person can be heard shouting directly at Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa: "Where are you, Sharaa? These are your camps, right? We sleep on shit and wake up on shit!".

The resident then sharply attacks the regime's mouthpiece, Jamil al-Hassan: "Where are you, Jamil al-Hassan? Are you only good at making videos and handing out $50? We don't want the $50, come get the people out of here! The children are floating in the sewage and sleeping standing in the shit! Ten or twenty families, and an entire country is helpless against them?!".

Federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) raided the home of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, a Democrat from Minnesota, early this morning, executing a search warrant approved by a judge.

The Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) are conducting a criminal investigation into suspected fraud.

Kurdish Princess QADAM KHAIR (1899 - 1933)

A female warrior in East Kurdistan.

She was a Princess from the Principality of Lur Minor. That patient Faily princess rose up in retaliation for the killing of her brother, the last prince of Lur Minor in 1925 by Ridha Shah Pahlawi.

She bore, the standard of the revolution and the insurgency when she could in a short period collect a large number of fighters around and vowed to liberate her land a
nd people from the life of humiliation and persecution prevailing in that era. She sent a particular message to Sheikh Mahmoud Al Hafeed offering unifying their efforts to rid the Kurds from grievances of foreign occupation.

Meanwhile, Ridha Shah Pahlawi offered to marry her but she refused, saying to him:" I am not a woman but you are a woman." And at the receipt of this reply he equipped an army to eliminate her, so battles broke out between them and ended in favor of Ridha Shah.

He arrested her but she did not ask him for forgiveness till she died with her head held high.

I am not Jewish, I am a #Kurdish journalist who actually moved to Israel weeks after October 7 atrocities.
Sincerely, Israelis from all walks of life; secular to ultra Orthodox Jews made me feel home. I don’t remember a single Shabbat where I had nowhere to go.

When I say in #Israel I found my second homeland - my second #Kurdistan I really mean every word of it.

May God bless Israel and all my Jewish brothers and sisters

Because of the relationship between Kurds and Jews

Simple questions:

Why do 5 million Palestinians have the "right" to a state, but not 40-60 million freedom-seeking #Kurds?

Why are there endless marches & protests for Palestinians, but not Kurds?

Why is the UN obsessed with Palestinians, but doesn't give a damn about Kurds?

HISTORY - KURDISTAN: 📌Kurdish Geography in the Works of Abū al-Fidāʾ (1273–1331)

Abū al-Fidāʾ’s geographical work, Taqwīm al-Buldān, describes numerous cities and regions associated with the historical geography of the Kurds.

1. Cities and Regions of Bilād al-Jabal (“The Mountainous Region”)

1. Erbil
2. Shahrizor
3. Suhraward
4. Dinawar
5. Kermanshah
6. Qasr-e Shirin
7. Qasr al-Lusus
8. Sirwan
9. Nahavand
10. Ruzrawar
11. Hamadan
12. Isfahan
13. Qom
14. Kashan
15. Abhar
16. Saymara
17. The Lur region

2. Other Places Associated with Kurdish Communities

18. Hulwan (Ḥulwān)
19. Aqra al-Hamidiyya
20. Fenk Castle
21. Hisn al-Akrad (“Castle of the Kurds”)

Boundaries given by Abū al-Fidāʾ place it west of Azerbaijan, south of parts of Iraq and Khuzistan, east toward Khurasan and Iran, with major cities including Hamadan (described as a large central city with four gates, abundant water, gardens, and fields), Dinavar, Isfahan, Qum, and others. The western portion of this broader zone was already known in some sources as linked to Kurdish habitation

Historical Significance

Abū al-Fidāʾ’s geographical writings provide valuable evidence for understanding the historical distribution of Kurdish communities and the geography of the wider region during the medieval period.

The term al-Akrad explicitly refers to the Kurds. However, some information in Abū al-Fidāʾ’s work was drawn from earlier geographers, including Ibn Hawqal.
