Mr. Raamdeo Agrawal at @_groww India Festival 2026:
Sensex & Kospi both started near 100 in the early 1980s.
Today: Kospi ~8,200 , Sensex ~77,000.

@srisiv1 The interesting thing to see whether Indian markets would also fall or not when the risk off trade happens in these markets, coz it hasnโt been the beneficiary of the AI trade infact brutally underperformed over the last 2 years.
India 10 year bond yield at 6.20% pa. US 4.60%. Gap of 1.60% is probably lowest I recollect. Will we 1 day see Indian yields lower than the US? Depends mainly on relative inflation, risk premium, trust, and liquidity, for global and domestic investors in these 2 countries!
This suggests that the market isn't in an overvalued territory. In my view, any correction we may see would likely be temporary unless thereโs a significant reversal in Nifty EPS or a slowdown in corporate profit growth.
The growth in the Nifty 50 Index is strongly backed by solid earnings, as reflected in the Nifty EPS. Between Feb 10, 2020 (pre-COVID) and Oct 2024, the Nifty EPS has skyrocketed by 139%, while the Nifty 50 index itself climbed by 105%.
@dmuthuk Thereโs no problem with this magnitude of tax collection, please have a look at this table. In fact this gap will widen in the future with absolute individual tax collection being more than corporate tax.
