Great qiesrion Marty, why does the Canadian government want to eliminate this B.C. ostrich flock?
It’s not about food safety.
It’s not about meat or eggs.
And it’s not about public health.
This ostrich farm doesn’t sell to consumers.
It works directly with Japanese scientists for research into natural antibodies, a field showing real promise in neutralizing viruses without injections or synthetic drugs.
Out of 400 birds, two were shot and killed in a targeted incident now under investigation. But Health Canada and the CFIA are still moving to eliminate the entire flock due to “avian flu protocols.”
Why?
Because these birds’ immune systems could help expose everything they don’t want studied:
Natural immunity
Non-vaccine virus neutralization
A global pharma model built on fear
No public threat. No food contamination. No transparency. It's just a quiet plan to destroy a biological research breakthrough on Canadian soil.
So ask yourself:
Why are they really targeting this farm?
Why is independent research always a threat?
Who benefits from killing off scientific alternatives?
We don’t need more panic.
We need answers.
@TimHoustonNS Interesting stats...however numbers is one thing affordability and cost is another...what are you doing Mr. Houston to ensure middle class families ... low income or single parents..people with disability..
young adults can afford their own home..or apartment?
@TimHoustonNS How will you make that possible for ALL Nova Scotians, Mr Houston? I'm interested in hearing how you will help those Canadian NS's who have been displaced from their employment and homes bc of the large number of people arriving in NS with no needed infrastructure in place??
"Yesterday I adopted the oldest, sickest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him.
Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had.
Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

We’re fighting for you. I'm fighting for you.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend who is experiencing the pain of losing her loved one. Lord, we ask for your divine comfort and love to surround her family during this time.
Lord, we ask that you would remind our friend of your faithfulness and the hope we have in you. Help them to find comfort in knowing that their loved one is now in your loving embrace, free from pain and sorrow. Give them the assurance that one day, they will be reunited in your eternal kingdom.
Lord, we trust in your unfailing love and mercy. We believe that you are able to bring beauty from ashes and turn mourning into joy. We ask that you would pour out your love and comfort upon our friend, filling their heart with peace and healing.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
@TimHoustonNS Ummm... that's wonderful for them, but what about those of us in Shelburne County that are in the same situation? *still dealing with this*
@TimHoustonNS The Provincial Government is responsible for rent control, emergency room closures, healthcare wait times, Long term care, education, daycare…

@TimHoustonNS You were checkmated on this last night. Affected homeowners of that wildfire were pleading with you about thier taxes doubling on newly built homes but you did diddly squat until you were called out last night. You never cease to amaze Nova Scotians with your BS ! Lies for votes
@guyfelicella That is a beginning...now what can be done for the stimulant users...the cocaine...and crack users ??.... other than clean supply of pipes and paraphernalia that facilitates use?...how can we offer stabilization that facilitates non use?
CHECK OUT MY MONTREAL PHOTO OPP! 📸
Since I’ve taken vacation days to come to Montreal for a speaking engagement, I decided to stop by The Maison Benoît Labre, a new facility that contains 36 studio apartments, a kitchen and drop-in centre for people who are transitioning out of homelessness, as well as the city’s first supervised inhalation centre.
Bon travail Montreal! What a great initiative to support people into a safer, healthier life 💪
I also checked out the park next door. You know the one. Last week, @CPC_HQ leader @PierrePoilievre staged his photo opp there, and said it was where “We’re seeing children terrorized by drugs, by potential violence, by gross sex acts, by needles and other danger.” Then he called overdose prevention sites “drug dens” and said he will defund them.
I had a good look around the park, and saw … none of the above. I saw kids playing and having fun. There were no drug users, needles, paraphernalia, etc. Residents of the community who use drugs were not doing so in the park, because instead they have a new safe space, with life-saving services, supports and connections to health care and treatment.
Great to see this approach working as it should, to protect the health and safety of ALL people in this community!
FYI Pierre: if you defund overdose prevention sites, then children all over Canada will indeed see drug use, overdoses, and DEATH from the #ToxicDrugCrisis.
