So, I’ve been booking Tatkal tickets for quite some time now, and in most cases, I’ve managed to book successfully, even on some of the busiest routes in India until recently.
The last 2-3 weeks have been completely different. Everything, including the RailOne app, IRCTC Rail Connect app, and IRCTC website, keeps throwing different errors, and many times you can’t even reach the payment page.
While @AshwiniVaishnaw and @RailMinIndia claim server capacity has been increased and action has been taken against agents and bots, based on my personal experience, this was effective for some time but now things seem to have gotten worse instead of better in recent times.
@IRCTCofficial@RailMinIndia this is what indian railway is doing scam with users. Tatkaal booking:- application not responding....
11:00 am 30 apr 2026.
🚨 @amofficialCRIS has successfully destroyed the RailOne app.
Used to book Tatkal tickets flawlessly earlier vs Now? Fails every single time and this is happening since weeks, not one successful TQ booking.
The irony? IRCTC Rail Connect is now MORE reliable now than the "upgraded" solution. 💀
Sir @AshwiniVaishnaw@RailMinIndia what happened to all those big claims about RailOne?
Didn't even survive a year. 📉
Tried Tatkal ticket on RailOne but kept getting-network issue till 11:10 AM. Tatkal gone & Premium Tatkal available at double price
Feels like system failure benefits agents only.
This is unfair for common users.

This is unacceptable! During Tatkal booking, Railone app crashed with “Unable to process request” error at payment stage.Passengers depend on Tatkal, but due to such technical failures we lose our chance unfairly.
RailOne app glitch during Tatkal, showing “Not Found” even when seats are available.
Happening for the past few days.
Earlier, it was flawless. Now, it’s frustrating.
Please fix it @AshwiniVaishnaw@amofficialCRIS@RailMinIndia
