Postponement of gate exam is necessary because most of the students need to travel long distance to attend the exam. so there is a chance virus infection as well as number of examination centres must be increased for proper social distance.#postponegate2022 @IITKgp

Irony is that IIT KGP has postponed it's events closed campus that would have included limited no of people due to covid fear but is ready to conduct exam that would comprise of 10 lakh candidates approximately. #postponegate2022

No trains,No cabs in the city allowed,covid positive candidates are High Risk to spread the virus..the reasons are endless as to why @IITKgp should postpone Gate 2022..but these High profile bureaucrats won't listen to the issues of poor students..

1 Conduct in March/Apr when cases are low
2 Allow covid+ candidates to exam in isolation rooms
3 No/limited transport -trains/bus/flight to reach exam city
4 Weekend curfew (GATE exam on SAT/SUN)-No cabs ,city bus,auto to reach centre
