#OTD 1888 Cyril V. Briggs born in Nevis. Founder of African Blood Brotherhood, Briggs was won to Communism because of Bolsheviks' anti-imperialism. ABB provided first black recruits to Communist Party in United States and fought for Party to champion black liberation.
