@Lugganathcel It seems just as possible that an Omen’s appearance is the result of being cursed by the erdtree, not the other way around. A ‘deteriorating malediction’ similar in nature to the engravings on their cleavers, purpose built.
in the higher arts (poetry, music, painting) it is fine, even admirable, for an artist to engage only with their own tradition. in the bastard arts (film, video games, opera) the artist must be familiar with the wider world.
@octopuscaveman Creative life is never really over, it’ll come back eventually. The end of the tunnel always does. Take a break, rebrand from zero, doodle on the wall of a padded cell. When you stop looking for it you’ll find it again. Great posters never die!

@puppycelebrity Had a film class prof who told us that the ending of Inception was ambiguous as a marketing technique, so ‘everyone would talk about the movie’. I bitterly regret not arguing with her about it.
Not only am I pro death. I am also pro decomposition. Pro time. Pro gravity. Pro history. Pro circle of life. Pro the consequences of hubris. Pro the inevitability of all things turning returning to ash and dust.
The rich will never understand the indecent joy of receiving a little money after a long drought, no aphrodisiac compares to the sudden anonymous $200 Patreon notification precisely when I need it most. Providence, at last, aurea mediocritas
@cigarettesummer Often my journal entries are ugly, insipid, or insane. Hard to revisit for sure. But nothing is so agonizing as a month long space between entries.
Im okay with them removing Kales questline. I imagine one of the reasons is that it allows the player to decide how they feel about this area instead of a character explicitly divulging their emotions. Of course Kale would be furious if he stumbled upon this.
Mario 64 is not a videogame but an occult initiation made by extreme child focused occultists working for an ancient tarot card manufacturer. I would say that the Quake games is good for the brain though. Thanks.
