The Evergreen Teachers' Association supports this action and has submitted a letter to the Prairie Rose School Division. Banning informaton is chosen ignorance. Education should stand up by being inclusive and promoting positive discussion, not eliminating access to inclusion.
Schools are expected to do more with less. Underfunding education is not sustainable. @minewasko help schools support students with the necessary resources for success! #MTSLobbyDay2022
Today on #WorldTeachersDay I’m thinking of colleagues across Manitoba who work so hard for all of their students. Education funding has not kept up with rising costs, so we are stuck doing more with less. #MTSLobbyDay
If we want exceptional, effective, efficient education in Manitoba, we need to ensure our classrooms are rich, engaging environments where our most precious people can flourish.
#MTSLobbyDay22
Remember when the @mbndp had a cap of 18 students per class in Grades K-3. Today I have a Kindergarten class of 27. Please @minewasko and @PCcaucus properly, fully, and fairly fund our schools.
#MTSLobbyDay22
Education funding has not kept up with inflation the past 5 years, resulting in larger class sizes, fewer resources and initiatives to help students, etc. Now more than ever we need @MBGov@minewasko to adequately fund education. #WorldTeachersDay#MTSLobbyDay22
#MTSLobbyDay22 We know that funding has not kept up with the rate of inflation, we need a fully funded Public Education system. #WorldTeachersDay2022
We are being asked to do more with less, this is not sustainable.
All PRSD schools and facilities will remain closed for Thursday April 14. Please be safe everyone.
