Spiritual practice is the goal of human birth. With a view to overcoming the problems faced by seekers on their spiritual path and promoting Guru Karya, the ‘Gurukarya Gunvrudhi and Navchetna’ National Shibir of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti began today in a spiritually charged atmosphere.

The Shibir will continue till 19 August at Bharatiya Sanskriti Sanvardhan Kendra, Bandoda, Fonda, with more than 180 responsible sevaks from across Bharat participating.

“Justice is blind, not the judges. Is corruption invisible?”

• 5.4 crore+ pending cases; 76% prisoners are undertrials
• Acute judge vacancies
• Collegium system (“judges appoint judges”) needs reform
• 1,600+ corruption complaints (2017–21), limited action
• Only 12% judges declared assets
• 1993 impeachment of V. Ramaswami failed despite inquiry findings
