@PaulZeise I do agree with you although the football analogy doesn’t really stick. There’s constant yelling at football. If football had a smattering of people in the crowd and one person screamed right as the QB was letting go of the ball then we’d have a comparison.
@TheBuccosFan@MLB@MLBPA As a Pirates fan you’d absolutely insane to side with MLBPA. Baseball economics have rained 💩 on us for YEARS. A cap is needed.
@TheBuccosFan@MLB@Pirates I like the “sideline reporter” I just wish they would report on things going on in the actual game. Maybe things they hear or see in the dugout. It’s all fluff pieces.
@CharlieBatch16@wpial7 High school sports has become “what puts me in the best position to get a DI scholarship?” And college sports has become “what puts me in the best position to get to the professional level.” No one cares about winning and loyalty anymore. Sad.
@CharlieBatch16@wpial7 I don’t like the WPIAL much but I’m siding with them on this one. We are in an era where all that matters is how the student-athlete can be placed in the “perfect” situation. Screw competitive balance, screw the schools that suffer right?
@JPbucco33 Some of his calls are so corny and forced like this one. And he didn’t even correct himself lol he was just like: IT’S TIED…………….. IT’S 7-6 PIRATES. 😂
@JRudd_Scout They are at the point now that if they win the national title well they are expected to. No big deal. Not real impressive. If they don’t, then it’s a massive failure and kind of an embarrassment. Because of this, I think it’s time for them to go DI.
@KDPomp Starting to wonder if, after these next 2 series, people will still think the Pirates would have an advantage over “anyone” in a playoff series. 🤔
