"Even though Jaylen Brown was talking about himself for MVP, the Celtics did not feel like Jaylen had the best season on their team…They felt that Derrick White had a better season."

The Portland Trail Blazers envision a starting backcourt of Damian Lillard and Ja Morant alongside Deni Avdija on the wing. A very unconventional move that the franchise believes has upside. Ja Morant gets his fresh start. Jerami Grant and Kris Murray off to Memphis.
Kendrick Perkins says Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball are the best backcourt in the NBA:
“Now all the sudden you bring back LaMelo, with Anthony Edwards. That is the best backcourt in the NBA. I repeat, that is the best f*cking backcourt in the NBA.”

I think this is going a little bit too far but I do believe Jaylen Brown is probably the most overrated player in the league by the average NBA fan.
His entire game is damn near built to have the average person overrate him. He makes the tough mid range shots, he’s athletic, has clutch moments and he used to play very good defense. But at the same time his real weaknesses knock down his game so much.
Jaylen Brown’s trade value isn’t that high around the league, per @BobbyMarks42
“I had an analytics guy tell me, ‘We view [Jaylen Brown] as the seventh-best player on a TEAM.’”😳

I think Minny adding Melo gives them the best backcourt in the league. But I also think losing the two bigs makes it harder for them to beat Denver if they matchup lol
