@SandyofCthulhu i saw guys who couldnt code 1 line of a game in the 90s be catapulted into CEO positions after their friend appointed them as a level designer and their undeserved salaries in combination with the awful games of the last 20 yrs are the opposing force that make piracy justified
@Kazsune It’s Scorpion & Subzero, they’re known by non-gamers to a far greater extent than Ryu. Also Ryu wasn’t in a song that had everybody yelling Street Fighter at the top of their lungs
@Ad3pt117134@Xbox_Nostalgia Personally I would much prefer to be in the Denisovan jewelry making culture 50000 years ago, their games were more fun and their technology was better
@Gunflame345@PortlyPen@sonic_hedgehog Much like record labels buy copies of their own artists’ album on release to certify them platinum or gold, game publishers buy their own games because they noticed saying shit like “Sold x copies in first week” in a paid IGN article increased sales dramatically. Bandwagon
@Gunflame345@PortlyPen@sonic_hedgehog Games journalists will widely accept a walking simulator. Real people don’t like those mickey ahh games unless mickey ahh games are all they’ve ever known, which is a lot of you nowadays. You’re just easy for corporate to fool. AI is evil and those games are garbage.
@Gunflame345@PortlyPen@sonic_hedgehog No, unfortunately all 3 of them combined don’t even have a sliver of the awesomeness of the original, but plenty of people are bad game junkies so don’t let me stop you
